Licensed by Dr. Vodderschule, Austria I offer the following certificated, internationally recognised courses during 2013/2014:

Basic
40 hours over 5 days
Accessible to people with either a medical background or massage qualification (including A&P) and post qualification experience. This first stage of MLD training has no assessment or exams and is not a qualification in its own right.
Course content and format
The A&P of the Lymphatic System and its importance in decongestion, relaxation, pain reduction and immunity are covered in the theory section (10 hours). Teaching is by demonstration and practising the hand movements and sequences which, when applied correctly, can stimulate lymph flow (30 hours).

Therapy 1
40 hours + exams over 6 days
For people who completed Basic in previous 18 months.
Course content and format
Basic level theory is revised & extended (10 hours) previously taught practical improved and additional techniques for major joints are demonstrated and practised (30 hours).
Success in all areas of the theory exam and practical assessments is rewarded with an internationally recognised qualification certificate to work with people with a healthy lymphatic system. This is required to access advanced training.

Basic and Therapy 1 reviews
14 hours over 2 days
Update trainings for qualified MLD practitioners.
Course content and format
Having completed training previously you will be brought up to date with new research information; additionally there will be some revision of the theory taught during your original course(s) – this will be as interactive as possible. The practical elements make up the bulk of the time and will be relevant to your practice. Problem cases will be discussed and, if time allows, demonstration and use of adjunctive equipment will be incorporated.
